The Recertification in Colonoscopy offers increased opportunities for education and training suitable for experienced colonoscopists.

In the initial phase this includes the provision and distribution of materials and increased training opportunities through the National Endoscopy Training Initiative (NETI) – these are heavily subsidised by the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program.

These will be in the form of:-

• large format workshops in centrally-located hospitals;
• small workshops in endoscopy units in both urban and rural locations;
• individual one-to-one training and
• online education and materials.
