The Recertification in Colonoscopy Conjoint Committee (RCCC) is a national body comprising representatives from the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA), the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS).
The RCCC has assumed administration of the Recertification in Colonoscopy Program from 1 February 2023.
Previously the program was administered by the GESA Recertification in Colonoscopy Program Steering Committee that was appointed initially for the period from 1 May 2015 until 30 June 2018 by the President of GESA.
The members of the RCCC are appointed by the three parent bodies:
Committee members are experienced current practitioners as individuals and bring a range of experience in both area of practice (physicians, surgeons, colorectal surgeons, paediatricians and more) and location from the East Coast to the West Coast of Australia (including urban and rural practice).
