Welcome to the GESA Colonoscopy Recertification Program
Registration for Adult and Paediatric Recertification is now available. Colonoscopy logbooks will be issued
within ten working days of registration.
The program provides for triennial recertification. It is designed
to support practitioners in:
The program has been developed over several years and brings Australia into line with international trends and with
increasing consumer expectations regarding medical professionals.
Participation in the program is limited to colonoscopists practising in Australia and who have
CCRTGE recognition of their training in adult or paediatric colonoscopy.

All logbooks submitted from 1 January 2019 will be subject to a minimum SSA/P detection rate. See the Criteria and FAQs pages for more details.
